Christmas '07

Yes, another silly season will come up fast. Jukebox Joy contributes a solid round of fun Christmas gigs in a range of Senior's homes in the shire - it's a time when our service can be especially appreciated by those feeling isolated at a time when we all want to share the spirit.

Jukebox Joy presents music from the 1920s to the 1950s, playing acoustic guitars and singing harmony. We are currently preparing  Christmas carols and songs in anticipation of  the "silly" season and would very much like to present a show for your seniors.

Every year passes more quickly, so remember - if you would like us to come and entertain your senior audiences with a Christmas Show or other special event later this year, please let us know a suitable date so we can arrange  to include you in our Christmas schedule.

It is our plan to visit every nursing home and retirement village in the Byron Shire during the coming '08 holiday season.

If we don't get to you before hand, it's a great way to introduce the service, and if you like our music - we can come regularly to provide a one-hour show, -  up to every month over the coming year.

We currently do not charge for this service. Recently we received grants from Byron Shire Council and the Lions Club that acknowleges the value of our work and enables us to provide song sheets and rhythm instruments so that those wish to do so may join in the fun.

Wouldn't  you like some fun live music for your Christmas party or another Christmas season event way off in December? Or any other special occasion that crops up in between? All we'll need from you is a months notice for a date  for a Christmas or other show booking, which we hope will be the first of many joyous musical events for your group involving Jukebox Joy.
